This Thursday, I hosted one of my ‘On the road fixes’ tuition sessions with Wokingham Cycling Club! They were a fantastic group of like-minded cyclists, who participated in all elements of the session, including the ‘man vs tyre’ challenge and independently changing inner tubes. It was a great night, with some great feedback to see that members of the session learnt from my tuition.
“Big thanks to Ferdi for a very informative and helpful evening for those of us attending the maintenance course. Helpful tips on how to get on tight tyres (and we got to witness Jon complete msn v tyre) and roadside fixes including spokes, gears and chains. I also learnt that you are supposed to fill saddlebags with tools and other useful items rather than snacks! We also got to watch Ferdi drill holes in a tyre!”
